Patient Care Coordinator

Springcrest Dental Associates is growing and so is our team! We are a patient-centered and fast-paced growing organization. Our team is passionate and dedicated, we work hard, have fun, and provide excellent patient care in a collaborative environment. We are currently looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The person applying for this important position must be a team player who is excited to learn and grow with us.

You must be comfortable working with patients while presenting necessary treatment, the fees associated with that treatment, scheduling appointments, and collecting payment for those services, all while providing the best customer service possible.

We are looking for someone who is kind, genuine, motivated, and who wants to help us provide the very best for our patients. Our team travels for training (which is provided at no cost to the employee) and this is required to grow within our team.

Essential Functions:
Provide patient care and customer service support

• Schedule appointments, review and update patient charts, collect copays and manage co-pays
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, answer questions about our services, etc.
• Manage co-pays and manage payments
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Work with other departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends/market trends
• Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist and office manager

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Valid MI Driver’s License (Required)
• Must be authorized to work in the Jackson, MI without needing to apply for a job-specific COVID-19 vaccination exemption. (Required)
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen. (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 38 per week
